HORROR IN KADUNA AS A MUSLIM MOPOL WENT ON SHOOTING SPREE SHOUTING ALLAH AKBAR: FIVE FEARED DEAD!

A Mopol identified as Ayuba Hamisu attached to a Zenith bank in Zaira was reported to have suddenly went wild and disarmed the other Mopol guarding the bank with him (both of them of the same rank of sergeant) and shot him dead over some issues that emanated between them (though still unknown as at the time of filling this report). Then he went on shooting spree killing not fewer than three others.

According to an eyewitness, the tragic event occurred on Friday, 23rd December 2016 while so many customers gathered around the ATM machine to make withdrawal. “The two Mopols guarding the bank were seen engaging in hot argument, which led to exchange of abusive words. Suddenly Sergeant Ayuba Hamisu took a balanced posture and ordered the other sergeant Joshua Matthew to hand over his riffle as he cocked his own rifle and threatened to shoot him if he fails to comply immediately.”

Realizing that Ayuba has taken advantage of him “he was left with no option than to surrender his riffle to him to mitigate collateral casualties,” our source added. The other Mopols around couldn’t immediately draw closer, they were so bewildered as they watched Sergeant Ayuba now in possession of two rifles with one cocked!

According to the report, “before anyone could dare to move closer, Sergeant Ayuba ordered Sergeant Joshua to lay flat on the floor and he shot him dead.” While the onlookers were scampering for safety, Ayuba was reported to have started shooting sporadically chanting “Allah Akbar” killing three other people, before the other Mopols around could shoot his two legs and “he lost grips of the rifles and fell to the floor.” The eyewitness revealed. Then those who ran afar off returned and meted out jungle justice on him.

Though, the other Mopols intervened and rushed him to the hospital, but report reaching us has it that he died before they could get him to the hospital as a result of the beating he was given by the mob and excessive bleeding.
