Arise News247 team was so perplexed when the Nigerian Army displayed what can be termed the worst show of shame as they hosted President Buhari to Guards Brigade Regimental Elaborate Dinner in their ceremonial wear claiming to be presenting Shekau’s flag and Qur’an to him. Whereas from pictorial and videos evidences obtained by Arise News247 as display below, the so called Shekau’s flag and Qur’an are entirely different from the flag and Qur’an ever seen with Shekau in any of his video appearances.
One begins to wonder why the military and the executive arm of the giant of Africa could condescend so low as to play such childish prank with such sensitive issue. And the worst of all is that they erroneously assumed that the entire country of over 180 million citizens will be so hypnotized as to swallow the irrational deception hook-line-and-sinker (without ascertaining the fact).
Again, even if they wanted to play on the intelligence of their followers the terrible and irritating lies should have been a bit more professional. With as low as N10,000 they could have paid a deceptive artists to use Shekau’s appearance with his Boko Haram flag to produce exact replica of the material that shouldn’t have even find its way close to the Nation’s seat of power.

The so called celebration of the “flag and Qur’an” and not the capture or killing or confirmation of the killing of Shekau, the leader of the dreaded terrorist group, is a terrible ignominy.
So many pertinent questions are still left unanswered:
- If the Flag and Qur’an belong to Boko Haram what do they want to do with it in Nigeria seat of power?
- Why the shabby preparation and presentation even when Boko Haram just struck yesterday?
- Why presenting a different flag publicly and where will the flag be kept or hoisted and for what purpose?
