Arise News247 gathered that Mr. Braimah Gabriel Ohioma has been sacked in what was believed to be an order from Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State for allegedly testifying at the Edo State Election Petition tribunal in favour of Pastor Osagie, the PDP candidate. He received the letter immediately after testifying in the tribunal.
The sack letter dated 7th February, 2017 titled “Service Withdrawn” and signed by the Registrar, Mr. Agboluai, on behalf of the provost of the state owned, Michael Imoudu College of Physical Education, Afuze, Edo State with reference, CPE/PER/704/17, cited “unethical misdemeanor” as the reason for the termination of his appointment.
However, our source disclosed that some Civil Organizations including Centre for Patriotic Leadership Initiative (CPLI) are set to initiate legal redress in a court of competent jurisdiction for and on behalf of Mr. Braimah.
