Arise News247 reports that Armed Robbers went on robbery spree in Iwo, Osun State on Tuesday, 6th June 2017 robbing three banks and killed four policemen in the process carting away millions of naira.
The robbery incident took place towards the closing time of the bank at about 4.00 pm on Bowen University Road in Iwo, Osun State.
The police spokesperson, Mr. Folashade Odoro, confirmed the attack to Arise News247 correspondent saying, “The unfortunate incidents claimed the lives of four policemen. But we are on the track of the hoodlums, and they will be brought to book.”
Arise News247 also confirms that as a result of the incident there was pandemonium leading to some students and residents sustaining injuries as they were running helter-skelter for their dear lives.
