EFCC CLEARS DIEZANI AS THE HUSBAND ALLEGEDLY WARNED BUHARI:
Arise News gathered that few months after the husband of Diezani, Rear Admiral Allison Amaechina Madueke (Rtd), allegedly stormed Aso Rock and was reported to have warned the President to stop harassing and blackmailing his wife or he releases some secret documents that will expose the hypocrisy embedded in the “holier-than-thou” attitude of Mr. President. EFCC has left her off the hook.
The husband of Diezani was once the Chief of Naval Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under Abacha between 1993 and 1994, and two times Military Administrator both under Buhari 1984 to 1985 (Anambra State) and under Babangida 1985 to 1986 (Imo State).
He is believed to have privy to the information concerning some documents that expose both the scandal in the NNPC and PTF under Buhari then. Though those incriminating documents were believed to have been hidden by Obasanjo in order to paint a picture of faultless Buhari to Nigerians.
Thus, just this afternoon the EFCC, who will never want their captive from opposition camp to go free, dazed the world when they declared that Diezani’s name has been removed from those alleged for corruption: clearing her of money laundering for so called lack of evidence.
This is most shocking when critically observed with the goggle of the various media allegations leveled against Diezani and the attendant noise from what can now be taken to be “cheap blackmail”.
