Buhari Removes Kachickwu As GMD Of NNPC Replaces Him With Another Northerner!
After the Town Hall Meeting in Akwa-Ibom that saw Kachikwu flooring Amaechi in solidarity with his kinsmen; Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu has received the first hammer from the presidency as he has been removed as the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and replaced him with Dr. Maikanti Kacalla Baru.
Arise News got a hint of this development from the press statement issued today Monday, 4th July, 2016 in Abuja by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Femi Adesina.
The press release makes it clear that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the composition of the Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), as provided for under Section 1(2) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Act of 1997, as amended. Mr. Buhari also removed Ibe Kachikwu as Group Managing Director of the corporation, and replaced him with Maikanti Baru.
He however allowed him to remain as minister of state for petroleum and will serve as chairman of the NNPC Board.
While Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu is from Delta State.
Dr. Maikanti Kacalla Baru is from Bauchi State.
The ethnic cleansing continues without caring what other ethnic groups feel.
