Hussaini Mairiga, a factional chairman of APC in Kano State yesterday described Buhari as a total failure.
In his address to journalists in Kano, he said, “From the looks of things, President Buhari has betrayed the confidence of the Nigerian masses who voted for him massively into power. It was not an exaggeration that members of many families in the country go to bed without at least one square meal, while others had fled their homes because they could no longer provide the basic needs of life for their loved ones.”
He boldly asserted that Nigerians have experienced more than one year of Buhari’s administration in power with nothing to show for it except hard time and abject poverty that have taken over the entire country. Mairiga also observed that prices of social amenities and food stuff that are basic necessities are tremendously skyrocketing. Giving example of rice that now sold for N16, 000, lamenting that yet the ordinary man did not have money to make a living.
He bewailed what he described as the worst scenario, which is that the president surrounds himself with sycophants, who will always sing the praises of Buhari no matter the outcry of the masses.
Concluding by advising the president to start fulfilling his campaign promises adding that Buhari and his sycophants should stop deceiving Nigerians and stop imposing hard life on an average citizens while they are swim in extravagant allocations of our collective fun.
