Rightly or wrongly. Buhari out of cowardice took the easiest root out of what would’ve being adjudged as the biggest undoing of his govt by not coming to Enugu state.

Recollect that AI report on his gross violations of human rights/ The unjust killings of IPOB members by him was still fresh out there.

Also Followed by EU parliament issuance of statement on the same human rights violation. The Disobedience of court orders. Maiming, unlawful incarceration and unjust killings of IPOB members. The directive of the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi KANU and other pro Biafra agitators unlawfully detained.And to without delay constitute a commission of inquiry to investigate the unprovoked and unjust massacre of IPOB members.

Prior to the visit SE Senate caucus at the behest of IPOB announced the boycotting of the summit.

Besides SE APC Efulefus,Gov Okorocha/Enugu state Governor as the host. No other SE Ex or serving Governor or Igbo political leaders of note indicted interest to attend the summit. Therefore, Buhari was on his own.

It was also Christmas period with millions of Igbos back to celebrate. Definitely,the killings of those innocent,harmless and peaceful protesters would’ve cause a complete breakdown of law and order which nobody would’ve been able to foretell its outcome.

Most importantly, Trump emphasized severally of his zero tolerance against radical Islamist and tyrannical regime violating the rights of their citizens and his warning against the killings of Christians.

Knowing the history of buhari’s hatred for Biafrans/ Igbos. The world attention was focus on Enugu state.

Given the reasons cited above including other factors. The trap was set for Buhari.

Thus,IPOB/Biafrans in their usual smartness knew that any killing on that day will be disadvantageous to Buhari and as such give them the leverage needed to nail Buhari and fix him on the spot against the world. Obviously, they understood that Buhari was in a fix and in a state of utter hopelessness and helplessness and they utilized it to their utmost advantage to humiliate him. And humiliate him they did to the admiration of the world without been violent.

It is worthy of note that some IPOB members resolved to be suicidal on that day and were completely prepared to pay the supreme price just to achieve the aim of pitching Buhari against world powers which in turn will attract the much needed sympathy to the Biafran struggle and as well might hasten up the restoration of Biafra.

Undoubtedly, it was a strategic protests and a masterstroke by IPOB.

Buhari was completely outsmarted, defeated, humiliated and prevented from dancing on the graves of those courageous and innocent Biafrans murdered by him.
