The family of an American Police Officer, Blake Snyder who was shot and killed in the line of duty, while responding to a call has received huge support both from the American government and the community amongst other American fallen heroes as part of the normal practice in the country.
A 2-year-old Malachi Snyder received two teddy bears as an early Christmas gift. They aren’t just any ordinary stuffed toys; they are made from uniforms of his fallen policeman father who was shot and killed in the line of duty, while responding to a call. A suspect opened fire on him upon his arrival on the scene. Synder’s family has received huge support from the community.
According to VOA report, “At least 138 law enforcement officers have died in line of duty so far this year. 64 of them were shot and killed, the most in five years, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.” Their families have all been given huge gifts to put smile on their faces this yuletide season.
Whereas in Nigeria, even those who are alive are NOT appreciated for making Nigerians proud!
To get huge sum of money as appreciating for a job well-done in Nigeria under this present government, you must be a Fulani Herdsman and you must massacre large number of non-Fulani Christians, or better still a Boko Haram member, then you can be sure of huge sum of money from the APC led Federal Government in the name ransom for “Chibok Girls” or “rehabilitation”.

The Female National Team that had been crowned African Women Champions 7 times and was always celebrated, had to protest the inhuman treatment by the this APC led Nigerian Government as an appreciation to them for conquering and returning to Abuja with the continental golden trophy the 8th time; because the Sports Ministers said the government did not believe that the ever conquering Super Falcons can still find their winning technique under this present administration.
When will Nigeria again start celebrating selfless national service?
