“We will write this for all to read. Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes.” -El-Rufai (Twitted on Sunday 15th Jul 2012 at 11:15am)

Since Mallam Nasir El-Rufai became Kaduna State Governor Fulani Herdsmen have been having unrestricted access, killing Christians from Southern Kaduna as if there are no security agencies in Kaduna State. The unique response from the APC governor was to visit the murderous Herdsmen, assured them that he is also a Fulani man like then and rewarded them with huge amount of money from the Kaduna State treasury. And since then the rampaging Fulani Herdsmen became more fierce with more sophisticated weapons.

One will want to conclude that El-Rufai might have indirectly declared Jihad in Kaduna if the happenings in Kaduna since El-Rufai became the governor is related with his comment on Sunday 15th July 2012, which till now is still on his twitter handle for the world to see.

On Sunday 25th December 2016 despite the 24 hours curfew imposed, Jema’a Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna Sate; gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen still invaded Goska community, about 5km from Kafanchan, Jema’a LGA and wreck havoc on the community, burning houses, cars and killing not fewer than eight persons.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports one of the victims is Gimbia Morik, an SSS 2 teenage student and daughter of Gideon Morik, former Deputy Speaker of Kaduna House of Assembly.

Mr. Morik recalled, “The attackers just stormed the village and started shooting; they killed six people including my daughter, and five others,” he also maintained that the attackers injured many others and burnt many houses.
