As Arise News247 management promised to update our highly esteemed audience on Aisha Buhari. We have finally confirmed that Aisha Buhari is truly in USA.
However, Arise News247 US correspondents confirmed that she actually traveled to USA with “Diplomatic Passport” and as such she is covered by “Diplomatic Immunity” so no matter the allegation against her she cannot be arrested and she cannot be molested.
DICTIONARY MEANING OF DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY:
Diplomatic immunity is a form of legal immunity that ensures diplomats are given safe passage and are considered not susceptible to lawsuit or prosecution under the host country’s laws.
Or
Diplomatic immunity is a principle of international law by which certain foreign government officials are not subject to the jurisdiction of local courts and other authorities.
HOW FAYOSE AND OTHERS ERR
Governor Ayo Fayose and those saying Aisha cannot step her feet on the soil of America, probably did not put into consideration the fact that since Aisha Buhari is First Lady, she can travel with “Diplomatic Passport” and be protected from any form of prosecution, arrest or legal harassment.
AISHA MUST HAVE BEEN SCARED
Considering the whole scenario that surrounded Aisha’s USA trip; there are indications that she must have been scared at first. For the following reasons:
1. During her announced arrival, she dressed in an usual way that one least expected of a Muslim of such caliber.
2. The first picture of her arrival does not depict the present state of the arrival hall at the Washington Dulles International Airport.
3. She appeared to have sneaked into America as she was NOT accorded diplomatic reception.
4. Over 24 hours after she was announced to have been in America, she could not be traced. As if she was hiding from something.
5. Why did she wait this long to visit America?
6. Why did she send Saraki’s wife to represent her in an event she was supposed to have attended only to be announced to have arrived America a day after the event?
Thus, it appears as if she waited for assurance before traveling to US and had to sneak in and also waited for assurance before real public appearance.
So many mysteries to be unraveled.
Oh Nigeria, our beloved country, how did we get here?
