The news reaching Arise News247 has it that the presidential jet parked in London since 7th May 2017 took off yesterday Tuesday, 1st August, 2017; supposedly with President Buahri on the 86th day of parking the jet idle in London and the whereabout of both the jet and Buhari cannot be ascertained, 24 hours after the departure of the presidential jet supposedly with the president.
The BBC confirmed the departure of the presidential jet from London and apprehensively called Mr. Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, who denied knowledge of the whereabout of both the Jet and president Buhari, his principal.
Femi Adeshina, confirming the call from the BBC asserted, “BBC also called me and said the president’s aircraft had taken off, I should confirm it. I said the tradition is that if the president is coming, we will be asked to issue a statement but there has been no such instruction.”
Also Mr Shehu Garba, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, said he knows nothing about “such development.”
Attempts to get any information from those regarded as the cabals that have been enshrouding the illness of the president in secrecy has proved abortive as Arise News247 could neither reach them through both their international and local lines.
