As a way of encouraging young people to stand up to the challenge and take over the mantle of leadership in Nigeria, the youngest Nigerian to declare interest to contest as a governor will tonight receive his first gift of the sum of five million naira (N5,000,000) from Prince Henry Nwazuruahu Shield and his group.
In announcing the donation and as a way of encouraging more young people to support him, Shield declared as follow,
“Tonight, my group and I will be presenting the sum of Five Million Naira (5,000,000) to a YOUNG Gubernatorial Candidate as part of our contributions to the #NotTooYoungToLead initiative where young people MUST be supported to take over leadership.”
“This is not a party affair. My stand remains that young people have done enough bag carrying. Our nation is in a mess. We need new hands. We need fresh, sound, competitive, cutting-edge ideas. The same hands that brought us into this mess can’t take us out of it. Nigeria deserves better.
I remain a 100% loyal PDP member however, my generation comes first.”
