The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed 17 count charges against former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, over allegations of N2.9 billion fruad, conspiring with Ayim Nyerere, an APC politician and five companies
The charges were filed today Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Federal High Court, Abuja just as Okorocha was declaring his intention to contest for the office of president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by 2023.
Others charged along side Okorocha are Anyim Nyerere Chinenye, Naphtali International Limited, Perfect Finish Multi Projects Limited, Consolid Projects Consulting Limited, Pramif International Limited and Legend World Concepts Limited.
