Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff today, April 6 2017 storms out of a reconciliatory meeting organized by former president Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja: after coming later for the meeting despite that former president Jonathan, Senator David Mark and other PDP stalwarts that were seated even before his arrival.

Sheriff came in for the meeting after all dignitaries were seated and former president Goodluck Jonathan had presented his address. He got furious as he insisted that he must be addressed as PDP National Chairman, but Jonathan and other dignitaries saw otherwise explaining that since the meeting is for reconciliatory purpose it will not be proper to take side between him and Senator Makarfi.

Not satisfied with the response he went into rage and was supported by his followers. Thus, he was led indoor for a closed door meeting after excusing the reporters present. Despite the attempt by PDP stakeholders to pacify him, he still stormed out of the venue of the meeting along with his supporters.

On his way out he briefly addressed the reporters insisting that he will not be part of any other arrangement apart from Governor Dickson’s recommendations; claiming to be the only National Chairman of the PDP.

Sheriff insisted, “The party as at today has one national chairman, which is Ali Modu Sheriff. There is no PDP meeting that will take place under any arrangement that I will not make an opening remark as a national chairman.

“I think that Governor Dickson made a proposal, and we have accepted it. Other people have a programme to bring agenda which is not part of the proposal.

“And as a national chairman of the party, what I told you people in my office is that I will not be party for anybody using me as a party to do another programme. I will not be.”

He also added that , “We have a programme, which is initiated by Dickson, anything that is outside that I will not part of,” Sheriff concluded.

  1. That’s why this country would remain in retrogression because of her tribal sentiments and one sided judgement.
I hard over the radio even b4 the meeting was convened that delegates for this meeting must be on invitation, thus; Sheriff on like others was invited.
However, following the Appeal court verdict sitting in PH, Sheriff was declared as the PDP National Chairman.
On sheriff arrival at the meeting venue, even b4 Sheriff arrival so to say, is it not the place of Jonathan being the party leader to create a space on the high table for him???, knowing fully well that that’s the chairman, instead, the respect was accorded to Makarfi. Is that a fair judgement???

  2. Boko Haram chairman. How on earth he got there is a mystery. A raging rabies infected dog in the market place. It will devour…
Sheriff is just a spoiler whose loyalty is to his father-Inlaw. Sherrif have the brief of his in-laws to continue to cause confusion in PDP so that Nigerians shall be stuck with the fumbling and tumbling APC government without any alternative. It is very saddening that a man who is an inlaw to Buhari, who was accused by his successor governor as the mastermind of boko Haram whose evil exploits contributed immensely to APC victory in 2015 polls, a man who was the chairman of APC merger committee and one of the most formidable sponsors of APC, should be allowed with such a pedigree to continue to cause confusion in pdp. Amodu sheriff and his evil conspiracy with APC was the reason why pdp lost edo and ondo elections. PDP leaders are too blind for my liking, may be God is punishing them for their part in handing Nigeria over to the axis of evil party APC and Buhari to scourge Nigerians with pain, sorrow, hunger, despondency, uncertainty, anguish and death.
